Spring bear season is well underway.  Lots of bears out and about, mostly on the pipelines early looking for the green grass.  Good luck to all.  Rugs and mounts are getting expensive due to high tanning costs, and our poor US exchange rates, so be sure its the bear worth the cost of the mount before you pull the trigger.

Just a reminder to keep those warm bear hides out of the sun and out of the black plastic bags.  Let your hides cool down, don't roll them up tight, and then get them into a freezer preferably in a breathable bag. Bears slip easily so take lots of care.

Had a great adventure in October to Kyrgyzstan. 5 of us had a real good hunt. Must say horse meat doesn’t taste bad.
